Perhaps the house is not a place, but just an irreversible situation…
James Baldwin 1924-1987 American writer.
/…What happens when the House becomes the Human himself? In the beginning, he evolved parallelly with the location from which he accepted his most internal influences. As he continued to develop intellectually, his surroundings evolved accordingly. A relationship which continued to change and to adapt each time according to the circumstances. Communication with himself, as well as with those who coexist under the semiotics of the House, is an unstoppable process, a chemical reaction, that with each admixture, everyone involved changes its basic structure either consciously or not. He Human becomes the House itself, it takes form as an extension of his Being, every aspect, every corner becomes Him and through that, it reshapes itself. If, and when, the House stops changing, it mostly reflects the fact that he has completed his personal development. As an observer, I “read” the House in the same way I try to “decode” the Humans. After all, the House has more to reveal about its Owners than they, themselves, might remember. And if all this were to be lineated, then, a few thin lines would “separate” us from all. They would define and designate everything to us.
